The Middle Has a Start

I have sat and thought and thought, ‘how would I start the story of my life?’  After pondering this question for the last few weeks I have concluded that I need to start in the middle.  In other words start with the present.  I am a young 29 years old and live in the beautiful state of Utah.  I have a wonderful best friend, lover, girlfriend, companion and wife.  Megan is the must beautiful gift I have ever received. She is single handling the best thing that has ever happened to me.  Together we have five beautiful children from the ages of 4 months to 8 years old.  Our story of coming together started 3 and half years ago.

We meet online using one of those ‘online dating’ sites and hit it off instantly.  We soon meet face to face and from the first moment I laid eyes on her I began ‘popping’ the question.  Our second date I took her to jewelry stores and got her to pick her favorite rings.  I asked her everyday for 3 months until she finally said yes!  From that day we have been hand in hand on the journey of life.  Megan and I have battled through what has been the blending of two families, a new start up business, my reuniting with my father, the joys of a custody battle and everything else that life throws at you and here we stand, strong and united.  Our love has grown from a seed to a young and healthy redwood tree.  A tree that won’t be cut, will not burn and will stand the test of time.  There is nothing in my life more rewarding nor more glorious then the love and relationship I have with my sweetheart.

With my enteral companion in hand I started a new adventure, an adventure that would soon provide and fulfill my worldly duties.  Two and half years ago I decided that I wanted to start a magazine about business and the how to’s of it.  After spending 16 years running and operating businesses I wanted to share what I had learned and bring some ‘common sense’ to the business world.  This quickly turned into more then a magazine.  After partnering up with my good friend, Shawn Saunders, we instantly saw that we had created a full service consulting firm.  Our focus?  Marketing and Design.  In this LIME Marketing was born.  LIME is just what we dreamed, a full services marketing and consulting firm working with everyone from hollywood celebrities to local carpet cleaning companies.  Working on everything from websites, sales programs, logos and full service programming solutions.  In the last 2 years LIME has been horned as one of the top marketing firms in the state of Utah and the top ten business to watch in 2009. We have gone from a two man dream to an acclaimed staff and downtown location with our second and third offices being built out as I type!

So this is where I am, now where did I come from?  Well that is another story!
